A live engraving station gives guests something to watch and something to take home. We set up at your corporate event, trade show or wedding and engrave each guest's item while they wait. Here is how it runs, so you can plan around it.
The same setup works as a holiday party engraving station, at a trade show booth or for a brand activation.
We are based in Mount Prospect, Illinois, and serve the Chicago area. For events elsewhere in the USA, we travel by quote.
What we need from the venue
- One standard 6 ft or 8 ft table
- One standard 110V electrical outlet
We bring everything else, including extension cords.
Before guests arrive
We arrive about an hour early to set up the station, calibrate the machine and arrange the display. If you want your company logo on every piece, we program it before the event. A logo can be combined with each guest's name.
During the event
Guests choose an item and watch it being engraved. Most names or short messages take 60 to 90 seconds per item, depending on the design. The machines are quiet, so conversation carries on next to the station.
Planning for your guest count
At 60 to 90 seconds a piece, one station can engrave roughly 40 to 60 pieces an hour when guests arrive steadily. Tell us your guest count and how long the event runs, and we will help you plan the items and timing.
What can be engraved
Drinkware and glassware, pens, cutting boards, leather goods, keychains and more. Names, dates, initials and logos all work.
